Sales terms Village de l’Océan

Opening period : from mid March to mid November

Prices : The rates are voted by the City Council and applicable during the whole opening period. The tourist tax is in addition 0.80 € per person per night + 18 years.

(1) Reservations

Every booking implies the acceptance of the internal rules.

Options made by phone or email are valid for 7 days. The reservation will be taken definitly only after reception of a deposit of 40% of the total price of the stay (chalets). In case of cancellation, the deposit will not be refunded (see cancellation conditions).

The chalet number will only be given as an indication and does not constitute a guarantee.

The reservation is nominative. A confirmation is sent to you by email or by post.

The access will be refused to any arrival that is fundamentaly different to the signed contract. The reservation will be cancelled, and the deposit paid will be kept. Minors must be accompanied by a legal representative.

(2) Payment

Concerning the payment of the chalets, the balance must be paid one month before arrival. For arrivals without reservation, the total amount of the stay must be paid on arrival.

The payment of your stay can be made by credit card (Visa, Eurocard/MasterCard), by cash in euros (limited to 300€) no cheques accepted.

(3) Arrival and departure

Arrival

You can take possession of your chalet from 16h00 on arrival. In the event of late arrival, notification must be given.

Departure

You need to free your chalet before 9h00 on day of your departure. Otherwise and extra night will be charge in supplement.

Chalets departures : The inventory of fixtures and fittings are done from 9h00 or before by appointment. People who would like to leave the day before the planned departure must then make appoitment. No departure can take place without the presence of the person in charge of the rental.

 

(4) CHALET for a maximum of 4/5 persons)

A deposit of 500 € will be required upon arrival (credit card or) and will be returned the day of departure after verification during the check-out. (Cleaning deposit 150€ and 350€ in the case of breakages)

The customer will make the inventory and the CHECK-IN of the lodges at his arrival and will give it to the reception dated and signed by him at the latest 24 hours after. Any problem must be immediately reported to the reception upon taking possession of the rental for a quick intervention. Otherwise, no further claims will be accepted. Deposits will be returned on departure, after deduction of the cost of restoring the chalets and the value of any missing or damaged equipment.. However, if a contentious remains, the above-mentioned sums will be cashed in full by the campsite, pending payment of the bill corresponding to the damage caused. 150€ will be retained on the caution if the chalet has not been cleaned on the day of departure.

(5) Delays

In case of delay, in the occupation of your chalet, it will be retained for a period of 24 hours. After this period and without a written request from you the reservation will be cancelled without any cash-back (even with the cancellation insurance). The direction reserves the right to re-rent the chalet.

(6) Cancellation and modification of a reservation

Modification : A reservation can be cost-free modified, depending on avaibilities. An additional charge may be requested according to the requested modification (period, type of accommodation…).

Cancellation : No refund will be made in case of delay, withdrawal or early departure. All cancellations must be made and transmitted in writing (email). Vocal messages on the phone, text or whatsapp messages will not be taken into account. Without insurance the amount paid will be forfeited.

Any cancellation concerning a chalet is as follows :

Cancellation less than 30 days before the arrival date or no show : 100% of the price of the stay is due.

Cancellation insurance : A cancellation insurance is optional (Tarif 2.90% of the total amount of your stay) and allows you to be reimbursed (except file fees) in case of serious illness, hospitalization, death, robbery or dismissal (cf. reimbursement clauses of the cancellation insurance). It must be taken at the time of booking. You are free to subscribe to any other cancellation insurance. Please note that some credit cards also cover you in case of cancellation (ask your bank).

CANCELLATION INSURANCE « Campez couvert »

Cancellation insurance is optional. It covers you against the consequences of the cancellation or interruption of your stay. Before and during your stay for serious unforeseen events (death, accident/theft of your vehicle, redundancy…). Proof will be required. EXTRACT FROM THE RULES :

Reception open every day high season (see current posted opening hours)

  • Low season: 10:00 – 12:30 and 17:00 – 18:00 (may vary)
  • Mid season: 10:00 – 12:30 and 17:00 – 19:00
  • High season: 9:30 – 12:30 and 17 :00 – 19 :00

 Arrivals and departures

  • Chalets : Arrivals from 16 :00 and departures before 9 :00

Payment: Payment of the balance one month before arrival. An invoice is available on request.

Occupancy per chalet may not exceed the number of persons permitted in the sleeping accommodation provided, i.e. a maximum of 5 persons for the Edelweiss, Goéland and PMR chalets equipped for persons with reduced mobility, at least one person of legal age.

Barbecues / Open fires . For safety reasons it is strictly forbidden to light barbecues (except gas or electric), campfires or fireworks.

Noise : noise pollution of any kind (shouting, amplified music, etc.) is forbidden; silence and respect of others required from 22:30.

Cleanliness : The chalets must be kept clean, no rubbish or bottles to be left outside the chalet. Selective sorting: we invite you to sort your waste and to deposit it in the appropriate bins (yellow bins for recycling, black bins for household waste, glass containers on neighbouring car park)

Guests: Must be declared at the reception on arrival ; vehicles will remain outside.

Vehicules : 1 car is allowed per chalet parked in the space provided for this purpose; motorised traffic prohibited at night from 22:00 to 8:00

Pets : One pet is allowed per chalet. Pets are allowed provided that they are declared at the time of booking, that they do not disturb the peace and safety of the residents, and that the basic rules of hygiene and the integrity of the facilities are respected. They must be kept on a lead in the Village. It is forbidden to leave your pet alone inside the chalet. The pet’s vaccination record must be up to date. Tattooing or identification chip is compulsory, 1st and 2nd category dogs are forbidden.

Theft : The management declines all responsibility in case of theft.

Camping : Tents are strictly forbidden.
