In Hourtin, the atmosphere is calm and family-oriented, conducive to leisure activities for the little ones. L’île aux enfants is a small paradise of wooden and open-air games for the youngest! You will also find horse riding centres, a Splash Park and a kite zone.
Further north, discover the old seaside thanks to remarkable architecture and a circuit of villas in Soulac-sur-mer.
On some beaches, the remains of the Second World War such as the blockhouses, now painted, are striking.
A few wine châteaux will lure you inland.
At the very end of the northern Médoc, in Le Verdon-sur-mer, the venerable Cordouan Lighthouse stands in the sea. A must-see in the region, a visit will not leave you indifferent.
Finally, discover the river culture of the Nord Médoc thanks to the fishing villages. In Montalivet, the largest Médoc market is held every morning in the summer. Taste local oysters on the menu with a glass of white wine by the ocean! And for entertainment, there is an Animalia park in Naujac-sur-mer and an accrobranche in Montalivet.
